How much should I plan for over runs?
This generally depends on selections of materials but to put a standard percentage for planning purposes a conservative amount would be 10%.
Does every remodeling job need a permit?
Why is it when I get three different estimates that the prices are so different?
Every company estimates & calculates projects differently. We use our experience and knowledge of what a project entails to provide a comprehensive estimate in the beginning. This is our philosophy. We like to provide as much detail and include items that we know will be effected so that a customer has minimal “surprises” during the process. Some people that claim to be contractors like to push out a low-ball price to get the project and then once it is secured they make up their shortage with change orders for items that should have been known in the beginning. We prefer to be transparent in the beginning and believe this helps build a better, trusting relationship since there is no “bait & switch”.
What if I need to get in touch with you while my project is in progress (or after hours)?
Pinnacle Contracting staff is available any time in case of “emergencies”. We provide the direct contacts for those involved in each project. If there is an issue we will be there for you. If you feel inspired by an idea or concept on the weekends, give us a call and we would love to hear from you.
